SHA is looking for volunteers to be involved in a Planning Committee for their 2011 Health Fair which will take place on March 2nd from 6pm to 8pm at the Boys & Girls Club. This event is “to help the community become aware of local community programs and the resources of our surrounding community and, ultimately, an opportunity to have fun with their families.” This event will include participation form Neighborhood House, NeighborCare Health, Boys & Girls Club, and the College of Nursing at Seattle University.
The organizers are looking for at least two homeowner and two renter volunteers to help the service providers plan the event. After the event on March 2, your commitment would be complete.
The first planning meeting will be held this Wednesday, January 12, from 1:30 to 2:30pm at the Neighborhood House (WAMU room, upstairs).
