Our Restricted Parking Zone (RPZ) goes into effect on July 1 (Wednesday). Street parking is being restricted to prevent our neighborhood from becoming a parking lot for the light rail station at Edmunds. For general info on RPZs, check out the City’s page on them. For details about our Zone 29, check out this page.
Parking permits are being offered for FREE for the first two years. Discounts for low-income households are available. Even if you never park on the street (you have a garage, you don’t have a car, etc.), do consider getting a guest permit so that visiting friends and family don’t have to run outside and move their car every two hours.

Homeowners: The minutes from the April and May HOA Board meetings are posted at the HOA management company’s site. To get there, start here and use the login link at the bottom of the page. You’ll need to log in to the CWD site, and if you haven’t done that before, you’ll need to register for a password. It’s a pretty straightforward process and once you’ve done that, you’ll have access to minutes, reports, etc.

Just a reminder that the NRV Multicultural Meeting will be Wednesday, June 17, at 6pm at the Neighborhood House. Come out and get to know some neighbors and discuss ways to help us discover the things we all have in common.
Join your neighbors in the Central Park at 10am on Saturday, June 13 for our next Community Clean Up. Coffee, doughnuts, bags and those fun little trash-grabber things are all provided. Bring gloves if you have them - we tend to run a bit short on those. Help keep the neighborhood looking good!
(If you have a student in need of community service hours, this is a great way to meet that requirement!)

Not a week goes by without news of shootings in Seattle’s neighborhoods. Kids in some of our schools live every day with the awful threat of impending violence; being killed and killing themselves. African American boys are especially at risk. Together, we need to help.

To stand with them against violence we are holding a
